FRAMINGHAM – Columbus Day weekend will be busy for the Framingham High marching band.
On Friday night, they will perform at Bowditch Field at halftime of the Needham and Framingham football game.
On Saturday, they will participate in a competition.
And on Sunday, October 8, they will hold a mattress fundraiser at Framingham High from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the cafeteria. (See the flyer below for details.)
“Although it sounds quite odd, Custom Fundraising Solutions of North Boston have been wonderful in depicting the legitimacy of their mattress showroom (despite it’s location). The marching band is trying to raise money in order to fund our season (buses, competitions, uniforms, etc),” said marching band member Reilly Edelman.
Students from the Framingham High Drama Company and Marching Band are traveling to Disney in April to perform so all our efforts are also going towards that, said Edelman.
