FRAMINGHAM – Anna C. (Morrissey) Quinn, the “Matriarch of Saxonville”, 93, died Thursday September 28, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
A lifelong resident of Saxonville, she was the daughter of the late Henry & Annie (McCarthy) Morrissey.
In 1979, she lost her beloved husband Robert L. Quinn.
She enjoyed traveling, but more than anything she loved to sit on her porch at Centennial Place and watch the world go by with her family.
Her life joy was taking care of and surrounding herself with her children, Cheryl A. Liberatore & her husband John E. of Framingham, Thomas M. Quinn wife Cheryl A. of Milford, Karen M. Savolt & her husband William E. of Hopkinton, and Ann Marie Sullivan & her husband William P. of Framingham, her grandchildren, Cherylann Sullivan, Christina Liberatore, Ann-Marie Liberatore, Brendan Quinn, Heather Simez, Robert Savolt and Amanda Sullivan, her great grandchildren, Steven, Ryan, Colin Phoebe, Cole and Calvin, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Robert, she was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph E. Morrissey and Marie Garrity, and a special aunt whom she lived with for most of her life, Sarah McCarthy.
Family and friends will honor and remember her life by celebrating her Funeral Mass on Monday morning, October 2 in St. George’s Church, 74 School St., Saxonville, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
