Marian Girls Cross-Country Loses Quad-Meet

FRAMINGHAM – Marian High girls cross country team was down a couple of runners and lost to St. Joe’s, Matignon High, and Lowell Catholic High Tuesday.

“With 2 of our girls out we were unable to field the necessary 5 runners,” said head coach Chris Collins.

The Mustangs lost all three meets by a score of 15-50.

The bright spot for the Mustangs was sophomore Vidi Wu, who ran a 26:45 on the 3-mile course to lead Marian High.

Next up for the cross-country team is a meet on Tuesday at Archbishop Williams.

The Mustangs are now 0-3 on the season.
