WELLESLEY – MassBay Community College announced Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has reappointed Thomas E. Peisch as Chair of the College’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Peisch has served on the MassBay Board of Trustees since his appointment by former Governor Deval Patrick in July, 2012.
In November of 2012, he was elected to Vice Chair. Governor Baker appointed Peisch as Chair of the Board of Trustees in November, 2015.
Peisch has lived in Wellesley for more than 30 years and was an elected Town Meeting member from 1997 to 2011. He is a founder of Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP, a Boston law firm and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Peisch earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, later serving as President of the Dartmouth College Alumni Council. He earned his J.D. from Boston College. His wife, Alice Hanlon Peisch, currently serves as State Representative for the 14th Norfolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and co-chairs the Joint Committee on Education.

The College’s Board of Trustees consists of eleven appointed members, including one student.
