5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, Sept 11

 

1  The Town of Framingham will hold a remembrance ceremony today for those with ties to Framingham, who lost their lives on Sept. 11 in 2001. The ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Cushing Memorial Park. The public is invited.

 

2. Tonight is the first PTBO meeting at Framingham High. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the Framingham Library.

 

3. Framingham TWPTO is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch.

  • Girls varsity soccer hosts Braintree at 3:45 p.m. at Framingham High
  • Boys varsity soccer travels to Braintree for a 3:45 p.m. game
  • Girls volleyball hosts Braintree at 4 p.m. at Framingham High’s gym
  • Field Hockey travels to Braintree for a 3:45 p.m. game

 

5.  Framingham State University will hold a screening of The Second Day with filmmaker Brook Peters at 4:30 in the McCarthy Forum today.
