FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Department of Public Works will be paving Route 135 from Route 126 to Winter Street this week.
This work is scheduled as night work to minimize traffic and business impacts, said Highway Director Dan Nau.
Starting Wednesday night at 8 p.m. road crews will be working to pave Route 135 to Bethany Road. The road will re-open to traffic at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 10.
Starting Thursday night at 8 p.m., road crews will continue to pave Route 135 to Winter Street. Road will re-open to traffic at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, August 11.
Police details will be onsite to help facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
Public Works personnel will be used as road guards on side streets as needed.
Keolis flagmen will provide worker protection at the Cedar Street RR crossing.
There will be no on-street parking allowed during this phase of work.
The traffic pattern will be as depicted in the attached plan and may be modified as conditions warrant. Any modification will be communicated to FD and PD dispatch. Please note that the eastbound and westbound lane pulls will close down side street access to Waverly until pavement is cool enough to drive on.
There will be no traffic or turning movements allowed on new mix hotter than 130 degrees.
Emergency vehicles will have access at all times with some minor delay.
