What City of Framingham ‘District’ Do I Vote In?

FRAMINGHAM – This spring, voters approved making the Town of Framingham the City of Framingham.

There will be a preliminary election on Sept. 26 to narrow down the number of candidates for the city election, with the final election on November 7.

Framingham will elect a mayor, an 11-member City Council, and a 9-member School Committee. All will take office on January 1, 2018.

Everyone is still is in the same Precinct they were before, but there are also now 9 City of Framingham districts.

Each district is comprised of two precincts.

Everyone will still vote in the same precinct, but they will elect a City Councilor and a School Committee member for their district, as well as elect 2 at-large City Councilors and a Mayor.

The districts are:

 

  • District 1 (Precincts 1 & 2)
  • District 2 ( 3 & 5)
  • District 3 (4 & 7)
  • District 4 (6 & 9)
  • District 5 ( 8 & 12)
  • District 6 (10 & 11)
  • District 7 (13 & 14)
  • District 8 (15 & 18)
  • District 9 (16 & 17)
