Marian High Graduate Killed in Northborough Crash Saturday

NORTHBOROUGH – A Marian High graduate was killed in a car crash Saturday in Northborough.

A total of four people were injured in the Route 20 crash, one fatally.

Police identified Meghan Farrell, 25, of Marlborough, as the person, who died in the head-on crash.

Farrell was a Marian High graduate, class of 2010.

According to Police, a Nissan driven by Farrell crossed the center line and struck a Lexus headon just after 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 5.

Farrell was transported to UMass Memorial Medial Center in Worcester, where she was pronounced dead.

Joseph Bafaro, 78, of Shrewsbury and Herbert Resnick, 65, of Needham were in the Lexus and were also transported to a hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.

A pedestrian, Antonio Hamad, 40, of Northborough, was also injured. He owns an auto body shop near the crash site on Route 20. He was treated at Marlborough Hospital.

Northborough Police continue to investigate the crash.
