FRAMINGHAM – The Hoops and Homework, the licensed after school and summer programs for the most underprivileged kids in Framingham, is looking for a program director.
The individual will be involved in all aspects of the organization including supervision of staff at our two centers and will report to the Executive Director.
The program director would develop an appropriate curriculum and plan activities that are consistent with the needs of the children and within the mission of the program. Ensure that the program is current with all licensing requirements and with the voucher program.
- Recruit, hire, evaluate and train staff.
- Assist in financial management of the organization, in terms of budgeting, purchasing, and accounts payable.
- Build relationships with schools, town and state resources, and parents to articulate the programs and mission of Hoops and Homework.
- Assist in identifying fundraising opportunities through grant submissions and/or community activities.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and administrative experience.
Should have experience working with children ages 5 to 14.
Job is for 20 hours a week.
