FRAMINGHAM- The Stacey Peasley Band kicked off the Summertime on the Common Series yesterday, July 13.
The upstairs level of Village Hall where the concert took place was nearly filled to the brim. There were only a few empty white chairs available. Children and parents alike were dancing and singing along with the band.
The happiness in the room was tangible as the upbeat music filled the air. The show was complete with balloon animals and musical games as well.
The Summertime on the Common Series was created by the Framingham History Center. The series runs every week on Thursday. There is a different program every week. All programs are free thanks to the support of Eastern Bank.
Next week, on July 20, Jojo the magician will perform.
