For the past 17 years, Holly Davis has brought the joy of learning to hundreds of students.
She has taught first grade, third grade, and for the last eleven years at Potter Road, second grade.
She’s an incredible educator who knows how to connect with children. She has an uncanny ability to forge meaningful personal relationships to help students achieve to their fullest potential.
When she’s not teaching second graders their ABCs or 123s, she can often be found eating lunch with several of her students–just to get to know them a little better.
A dedicated and driven professional, Holly always sends the message to her students: “You can do this! I’m not giving up on you.”
Her enthusiasm over the years has spread beyond the classroom, most recently helping to pull together Potter Road’s PBIS program in an effort to improve student behavior.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years, Jay, and their three boys, Cooper, Harrington, and Finley.
Other passions: reading, running, live music, paddle-boarding, and kayaking. Her favorite place in the world is the beach with her feet nestled in the sand.
