Sprinklers Helped To Minimize Fire on Franklin Street

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham firefighters extinguished a 1-alarm fire on Franklin Street, quickly last night, June 15.

The fire at 390 Franklin Street started on the loading dock and then extended into the building at the Portland Group, said Deputy Chief Steven Magri.

“The  fire was held at bay by the sprinklers,” said the deputy chief

“It was a quick knock down,” he said of the 11:22 p.m. fire.

No one was injured.

The State Fire Marshal was called and the fie is still under investigation.
