Flyers Defeat Wildcats 9-8, After Player Hit By Pitch

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys baseball team defeated the Wildcats of Weymouth High Wednesday afternoon 9-8 at the diamond at Bowditch Field.

Tommy Clark pitched six innings to get the win.

Junior Simon Cahill Farella was hit by a pitch, with the bases loaded, to give Framingham a walk-off win in the eighth inning.

The win gave the Flyers their ninth of the season.

They are 9-6 overall and 8-5 in the Bay State Conference.

Senior Sam Phipps went 4-for-4 in the game with 3 RBIs.

Framingham will host Wellesley High at 3:45 p.m. today at Bowditch Field.
