FRAMINGHAM – The Town of Framingham will resurface Belknap Road beginning tomorrow, May 18.
Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to be completed next Tuesday or Wednesday, according to the tonw’s highway director.
Phase one work will be from Millwood Street to Grove Street. (map 1)
Phase two will be from Grove Street to Edgell Road.
Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., but there is the possibility for work to run later.
- Police details will be on site to help facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
- Due to the nature of this work and width of road; for worker, resident, and road user safety, the road will be closed to through traffic once work commences.
- Road will be open to local residents. All residents have been notified.
- Emergency vehicles will have full access at all times.
The Town of Framingham asks that school and emergency vehicles recognize that workers will be in the roadway and proceed with caution.
