FRAMINGHAM – Club Pilates is the largest pilates franchise in the United States, and the first studio in New England has opened in Framingham.
Pilates offers total body workouts that help individuals with posture, balance, flexibility, and strength.
A ribbon cutting ceremony with the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce was held on Tuesday morning, and this weekend is the grand opening of the new franchise owned by Mike Rizzo and his business partner.
The duo plan to open a second studio at Assembly Row in Somerville in June. The Framingham location at 25 Prospect Street, in the Whole Foods Plaza, between Starbucks and TD Bank, had a soft opening in March.
This weekend, Club Pilates in Framingham is holding its grand opening. They are offering free demo classes every hour in their equipment, which includes reformers, EXO chairs, Barre, TRX, etc.
UPDATED: (Editor’s Note: Many of the free demo classes are full this weekend, but ask about additional free demo classes in May.)
This weekend is a great opportunity to tour the studio, meet the instructors, and ask questions about the classes.
Classes are for couch potatoes to trained athletes. The classes are for teens to seniors. Individuals recovering free injuries can also take pilates classes, with some modifications.
All retail merchandise will be 20 percent off and this weekend is the last chance to sign-up for early discounts on classes and memberships.
Today, May 6 is national pilates day.
Club Pilates Framingham will be open today, May 6 and tomorrow, May 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
