Florence (Lapina) Gurliaccio, 93

FRAMINGHAM – Florence ‘Flo” (Lapina) Gurliaccio, 93, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died suddenly on Tuesday morning April 18, 2017.

Born in Vintondale, PA to Italian immigrant parents the late Louis & Domenica (Berte) Lapina, she was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Gurliaccio.

After graduating from Framingham High School, she got married and raised her four children here in Framingham.

Once her children had grown she worked the salad bar at Ken’s Steak House for many years.

She is survived by her children, Edward & his wife Carole of FL, Alfred, Adele Smith & her husband Edwin, and Paul all of Framingham, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sister in law, “Auntie Flo” of Revere, and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

Family and friends will honor and remember her  life by celebrating her funeral Mass in St. Stephen’s Church, 221 Concord St., Framingham on Wednesday, April 26 at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
