HOPKINTON – The Advocates, a nonprofit provider of services to individuals facing life challenges, with host its 4th Annual See Me 5K Run/Walk to raise mental health awareness and support recovery, health and wellness programs in May.
The event, coinciding with the “Mental Health Awareness Month” of May, benefits the Michael Jones Memorial Recovery Fund.
The 5K course follows scenic paths and quiet back roads in Hopkinton, and volunteers and spectators can attend for free.
Children under 12 can participate in a Kids Fun Run (50- and 100-yard dashes), games and face painting.
Runners and walkers may register at advocates.racewire.com ($30 for adults, $15 for children). Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.
The race is on Saturday, May 6 starting at 11 a.m. There is a kids fun run at 10:30 a.m.
Same day registration is from 9 to 10 a.m.
Race starts at Hopkinton State Park at 164 Cedar Street.
