FRAMINGHAM – Early Sunday morning, 65 individuals worked out to help feed the hungry in Framingham.
The April 2 event was a Cycle for Cause fundraiser at LifeTime Fitness sponsored by Beauty PaRLR, RLR Studio, and the Wilson Group to raise funds for Daniel’s Table. Daniel’s Table is a a nonprofit organization, with the goal of ending hunger in Framingham. It was founded by David and Alicia Blais.
Rachael L. Rubin, owner of Beauty PaRLR and RLR Studio in Saxonville, partnered with the Wilson Group, out of Newton, for the spinning class fundraiser.
Participants paid $50 to participate in the special class, and 100 percent of the proceeds went to Daniel’s Table.
“This is the first time we had people sweating to raise money for us,” said David Blais.
David and his wife Alicia stopped by LifeTime MetroWest to check out the fitness class, and to attend the reception with food and drink afterwards, with all the participants.
LifeTime donated their spinning studio to the cause. The class was led by Chance from the Westwood LifeTime.
The event raised $3,250 for Daniel’s Table.
