Flood Warning Issued For Sudbury River in Saxonville

FRAMINGHAM – The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Sudbury River in Saxonville.

At 5:15 a.m. today, the flood stage was at 9.7 feet. Flooding can occur at 10 feet.

The forecast is for rain this afternoon, which means the river is expected to rise to near flood stage.

Flooding will affect low lying areas along the river in Wayland, including a portion of Shore Road and Pelham Island Road.

There could be an impact in Framingham, too.
