FRAMINGHAM – Did you miss the LIVE Framingham Charter ballot question debate on AFTV last Wednesday, March 22, sponsored by Framingham Source and Access Framingham?
Don’t worry. You can watch the entire debate with Video On Demand at your convenience before the April 4 election.
And AFTV will repeat the debate on the following days:
- Monday, March 27 at 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 28 at 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- Friday, March 31 at 6 p.m.
- Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m.
- Election day, April 4 at 9 a.m.
On April 4, voters will be asked to either vote yes for a city form of government or vote no and keep a town form of government for Framingham.
The debate featured 3 Charter Commissioners defending the majority report of the Charter Commission, encouraging voters to vote yes for a city form of government vs the author of the minority report of the Charter Commission and two Framingham residents, encouraging voters to vote no to the proposed city charter.
Majority Report Panel Participants were Charter Commissioner Valerie Mulvey, Charter Commissioner Adam Blumer and Charter Commissioner John Stefanini.
Minority Report Panel Participants wer eCharter Commissioner Teri Banerjee, former Fiannce Committee member Linda Dunbrack and former Selectman John Stasik.
Framingham resident David O’Leary, who is host of the Morning Magic radio program on Magic 106.7FM, moderated the debate.
Neither Framingham Source nor Access Framingham is taking or will take a position on the charter question.
Both media outlets co-sponsored the debate as a service to Framingham residents and voters.
