5. And finally, some news on Framingham Source.

Next month on April 13, Framingham Source will celebrate its first year publishing. The community news site is growing faster than planned. Over the last two weeks, several readers may have been receiving error messages. First for high traffic issues, second for server issues.

Source’s move to a faster, larger server should be complete this week. The change over is taken longer than planned as I am still attending events, reporting, and writing while making the website and server changes to handle the increase in traffic to the site.

Framingham Source is averaging more than 10,000 page views this week. (Those are traffic numbers I had when I left my former site after 5-plus years of publishing.)

Between April and December 2016, Source was averaging more than 30,000 unique visitors to the website. Since 2017, Source has been avergaing more than 40,000 unique visitors. Thanks so much for the support!

Now for the a little bad news, there are about a half dozen reports with large photos files and videos that have yet to post over the past 2 weeks; as I would prefer they be added to the new server once it has been tested and all the bugs are fixed. Thanks for your patience. Those event reports will post soon – goal is by weekend. Monday at the latest.
