Runner Diane Linn has pledged to raise $6,000 for Hoops & Homework, as she runs her first-ever Boston Marathon.
“I have waited over 5 years for this moment! To lace up my sneakers, immerse myself in the sea of fellow runners, slip my toes over that threshold into the indescribable energy and historic 26-mile stretch from Hopkinton to Boylston Street,” wrote Linn. “Running the Boston Marathon has always been a dream of mine! To run on behalf of an AMAZING local charity, Hoops and Homework, is an absolute privilege.”
