MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT – Nathan Courville of Framingham was one of 65 student-athletes honored for their excellence in the classroom, when the NESCAC announced its 2016-17 Winter All-Academic Team this month.
Courville, a senior, is a member of the men’s swimming & diving team at Wesleyan University.
The former Framingham High swimmer helped the Wesleyan University men’s swimming and diving team earn a ninth place finish at the 2017 NESCAC Championships.
To be honored on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.40. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
Founded in 1831, Wesleyan is home to 3,000 undergraduates and 200 graduate students in more than 45 fields of study.
