Gillian C. Bagley, 65

FRAMINGHAM – Gillian C. Bagley, 65, a longtime resident of Framingham died Sunday, March 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer and lung disease.

Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Eric W. & Catherine L. (Fisher) Beasley, and was the beloved wife of David C. Adam.

She was educated in Framingham Public Schools and attended Worcester JC.

She worked at the Framingham Union Hospital outpatient clinic for 20 years, and later became the medical secretary to doctors Ronald Mortara and Sew Kwa.

A friend of Bill W., she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and Florida.

Most important was time spent with family, especially her grandson Joseph.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Celata & her husband Matthew of Framingham, her grandson Joseph, her siblings, Anne Maslin of Mansfield, Jane Beasley of Natick, and Sharon Hanson & her husband Stephen of FL, and many nieces and nephews. Gillian was predeceased by her son Jonathan, and her brother, Clive Beasley.

Family and friends will honor and remember hers life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham of Wednesday, March 22 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Services and interment will be private.
