Warriors Deliver Flyers First Loss of the Season 95-91

FRAMINGHAM – The Brookline High boys swim & dive team delivered the Framingham Flyers their first loss of the season Tuesday night at Keefe Technical’s pool.

The Flyers, who were undefeated headed into the meet, lost 95-91 to the Warriors.

Framingham is now 3-1 on the season, and 1-1 in the Bay State Conference.

The meet came down to the final event last night, as Brookline finished first and third in the 4 by 400-yard relay to win. The Flyers finished second.

Framingham’s Sean Andrews won the diving competition with 239.50 points.

Junior captain Cole Bassett was a double winner. He won the 100-yard freestyle in 50.66 seconds and the 200-yard individual medley in 2.11.22 minutes.

Next up for the Flyers, is an away meet, against Wellesley High on Friday night, January 13.
