Framingham Library To Celebrate Kirk Douglas’ 100th Birthday Wednesday

FRAMINGHAM – On December 9, 2016, actor Kirk Douglas celebrated his 100th birthday.

The main Framingham Library will hold a free screening of his favorite movie Lonely Are The Brave on Wednesday, January 11 at 7 p.m.

Framingham State University professor Claudie Springer will introduce the 1962 Western based on the Edward Abbey novel. Afterwards, the film professor will lead a discussion after the movie. The move is 105 minutes long.

Douglas has received three Academy Award nominations, an Oscar for Lifetime Achievement, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
