She was the loving wife of the late Glenn R. Bessert who died in 1996.
Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (Cattani) Magri.
In her early years, she worked at the Dennison Mfg. Co. While raising her children, she volunteered at their school in the cafeteria and library. She then formerly worked as the Assistant Social Activities Director at Bayberry Apartments.
Following retirement, Tina enjoyed socializing with many friends and belonging to Metrowest organizations and groups including the Golden Rays of St. Tarcisius Parish, the Columbus Club and the Knights of Columbus.
She was an active member of the Hopkinton Senior Center as well as the Callahan Senior Center in Framingham. She had a passion for painting; enjoyed playing bingo and loved to cook all the Italian specialties that her whole family enjoyed eating.
She is survived by her children, Susan Dorsey and her husband Peter of Framingham, Trish Dion and her husband Jeffrey of Framingham and Mark Bessert and his wife Isabella of Dedham. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Dorsey, Shannon Dorsey, Dylan Dion, Devin Dion, Luke Bessert and Reed Bessert; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gino, Bruno, Angelo and John Magri.
Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave), Framingham will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her funeral Mass on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. (Rt. 135), Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
