Help, Food Needed For A Hoops & Homework Thanksgiving

FRAMINGHAM – Hoops and Homework will be serving Thanksgiving meals to kids and their parents from 2 to 6 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, Nov. 23) at both its locations.

The programs are located at 9 Pusan Rd and 12A Interfaith Terrace.

The plan is to have enough food for Nov 23 and leftovers for  Thanksgiving day also, said Hoops & Homework founder and president Herb Chasan

“The lack of food is a very real problem that we hear about every day from the kids and their families that we serve in our after school programs in these neighborhoods. There have been actual cases of theft to get food for hungry kids even though we do serve a meal to our youngsters every day and send food home for the families,” said Chasan.
