1 Both the Framingham State University men’s and women’s basketball teams open the season last night on the road. Both came home with wins!

 

2. Middlesex Savings Bank awarded MassBay Community College $10,000 for its MassBay’s Leadership Ambassador’s (MBLA) Program. The program is a central resource at MassBay that is aimed at improving college readiness, retention and degree completion.

5. Framingham Selectmen voted to allow Wal-mart, Babies R Us, and Toys R Us to open at 1 a.m. on Black Friday. All three Framingham businesses will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. All three will be closed on Thanksgiving and open at 1 a.m. on the Friday.
