The Town of Framingham has hired Kelly Hagerty as a community intervention specialist.
Hagerty, who was born and raised in Framingham, will split her time between the Framingham Veterans Services department and the Framingham Board of Health.
Previously, she worked a dozen years with the Department of Children and Families. She began her career with the state department as a social worker and transitioned into a adolescent’ CHINS worker.
Additionally, she was a state DCF investigator during non-duty hours, responding to crisis situations.
“I am confident that her qualifications, experience and working knowledge of the different system’s that make up our community has prepared her to be an excellent Community Intervention Specialist,” said the Town in announcing the appointment.
